Medium volume mouth, velvety, with a balanced acidity. Peach, pear and jasmine dominate the palette while good-length aftertaste leaves a bitter orange feeling in the mouth with slightly metallic hints.
Strataridakis Strata White 2015
A spondee to the most delicate native variety of Crete. Clear yellowish colour, with slightly greenish reflections. Elegant scent, reminding of the Cretan countryside aromas in autumn. Balanced flavour, strongly influenced by kiwi, but finally determined by citrus fruit, as they release a pleasant acidity for the end. It will match with soft cheese, pulse salads, fatty fish and fowl with white sauces or vegetable risottos.

On the nose the intense, fresh aromas of flowers and fruit are enchanting. Jasmine, hyacinth, rose, freesia, gardenia, primrose and chamomile are combined with peach, grape and unripe strawberry on a aromatic party. Botanical hints, honey and butter add complexity to a set full of freshness.
In the mouth, rich, elegant, with a creamy texture and acidity in properly balanced levels. The subtle sweetness is tickling the palate adding volume to floral oral aromas. The night flower, the gardenia and chamomile dominate accompanied by peach and apricot jam. The jammy feeling remains in the mouth in the long aftertaste.
